Give guests a small, specific invitation.
Ask for a favorite moment from the party: the toast, a photo of both families, or friends meeting each other. A clear request makes more sense than a long list of photo assignments. Keep participation optional so the camera does not become the focus of every conversation.
Decide how public the celebration should feel.
Review the gallery’s privacy and approval settings before the event. A link can be forwarded, and not every guest may want their photos on a screen. If you use a live wall, explain where contributions will appear and ask a trusted person to handle moderation while you enjoy the party.
Keep the later wedding easy to distinguish.
A clearly named engagement-party gallery will be easier to revisit after wedding planning gets busy. If you create a new gallery for the wedding, distribute that event’s new link and code rather than reusing old signs by accident.
