Test the link while signed out of the host account and walk one person through choosing a photo from their phone. Keep a friendly helper available at the reunion. Guests can upload through a browser with the appropriate permissions, but they still need a working connection and access to their own files.

A collection of this year’s gathering is different from a permanent home for generations of records. Tell contributors what you want in this gallery and avoid promising archival storage. Download and back up important files, and use a separate archive plan for documents or family history you cannot replace.

Relatives may not sort their pictures until travel is finished. Send a follow-up link in your own family message and explain whether the gallery is still accepting uploads.
