Give video a place in your invitation.
A sign that only asks for photos can leave guests unsure about their clips. Ask for photos and videos explicitly. A short toast, a dance-floor moment, or a message from a table can help you experience parts of the day you missed. Let guests choose what they are comfortable sharing.
Test a real clip before the wedding.
Video files are larger than photos, so try an upload using the device and connection your guests will use. GLIP supports videos up to 500 MB per file. Long or high-resolution clips can exceed that limit. Guests need internet access and may prefer to share longer clips later on Wi-Fi.
Choose what plays in front of the room.
Review Photo Approval and test the live wall with sample event videos before guests arrive. Assign someone to review contributions when moderation is enabled. Keep the screen’s volume appropriate for your venue, and coordinate with the person managing speeches or music before adding another audio source.
Collect first, then decide what to make.
GLIP brings uploaded photos and videos into one event gallery; it does not promise an automatically edited highlight film. Download the clips you want to keep. If you plan to give them to a filmmaker or editor, ask that person which originals and permissions they need before asking guests for footage.

Are video uploads included in the free plan?
Yes. Photos and videos both count toward the free event’s 100-upload allowance. Unlimited removes that event upload-count limit; file-size and technical limits still apply.
Can guests watch the wedding live through GLIP?
GLIP collects uploaded media. It is not a live broadcast service for watching the ceremony remotely.
